It must have been a good feeling to know when your mother was in a good mood. And it must have been good to hear her singing. The tongue twister is great. I did it once.

I think we all could see signs of our parents moods. Others might not but we did. We would also know when to get the heck out of her way or suffer the consequences.

Good morning
I also remember fearing coming home to the "mood." Step-dad #3 was for whatever reason never in a good mood, and I suspect that he hated kids. As for that tongue twister, it got me after one try.
