How truly you say so for politicians, religionists and others. Bacon himself, although he did stand as a votary of prectising morals, civil and practical, he chose the latter in self-aggrandizing his own political career, it would appear that being an opportunist, he preaced the virtues of the other. But a brilliant writer, no doubt.
