I believe we were all praying for the safe return of Peter and Christopher (Sam's son), as well as all the service people out there doing so much to keep our countries safe. Apparently the number of people attending Remembrance Day ceremonies was a huge increase from the other years. There can be plenty of reasons why but, on that day, it was sufficient to know that gratitude was shown.

Thank your family members for their service and their sacrifice and their honor to this country. We owe them all, and those who have served, are serving or who gave their all - as well as their families. Glad you were singing.

Today Peter is a 34 year old man who is married, has two daughters, Marianna and Vivienne (ten and five) and has three stepdaughters, a good but time-consuming job, a nice home with an in-ground pool, a church they attend regularly, lots of kin on both sides of the family and he always marches in the Veterans Day Parade in his town. I do thank you for all of your prayers for him. He especially had a down time when he was deployed to Afghanistan and his best Marine Buddy was killed by a sniper. That was hard for him.

remebering the veterans today yes. I remember praying every day for your Grandson and for another blogit's son while they were serving overseas. Then Thanking god when they both came home eventually.
