Shopping yesterday Jim was disgusted with the high prices of chicken, refused to buy but i walked further and saw some half the price but also would not last another day. We bought and popped straight into the freezer when we got home and they will be fine in there.

Utility prices are too high - some companies are overcharging, but then
there have been major expenses when they have had to rebuild whole systems because of severe storms, floods, forest fires, etc. I'm sure insurance doesn't cover all the costs.

I am not going to cook anything new until I go through the refrigerator and determine what leftovers are still edible and make myself use up some of them. LOL. I'm having leftover okra gumbo for lunch.

Sherri, I love the first snowfall. It's beautiful and when we have the fireplace on the house feels so cozy inside. I think a stuffed-crust pizza sounds good. I want to put my new electric blanket on the bed so I'm going to wash our other blankets. Our nights have been very chilly! I hope you have a good afternoon.

Good morning
Barbecue chicken sounds like the start of a great dinner. It was a chilly morning here too, but now it is pleasant outside. Today has been a busy one filled with autumn cleaning and laundry, so I am taking it easy by popping a stuffed crust pizza in the oven later on for dinner. After John gets home, we have been caught up watching the Mayor of Kingstown series on Paramount due to them filming season two in our backyard and along the river. My weather report for the week is not showing any snow, but then you are further north than I am. You love that white stuff, so enjoy!
