You can get a lot of exercise walking through those stores. I always use bullion cubes as did my mother. I like the taste of thr soup better. My kids will buy bullion already made for their soups but I honestly don't like it.

since I am just about contained to the bathroom and bedroom most of the day I make myself walk up and down the stairs to the basement a few times in the evening. Most always get some exercise.

When the knees - or hips - complain with pain at every step, it can
take all the fun out of getting in the morning walk at Wally World or the grocery store, even with the support of a grocery cart. I'd like to have my own shopping cart, maybe one that could be folded up and carried in the car. I could sort my groceries at the check-out lane and load items from the cart directly into their proper place on the pantry shelves. I hope your knee is pain free very soon.

Good morning
That is good news that your knee is allowing for mobility. Our temps are a bit warmer than yours with a high of 65 degrees expected today. I am making my bacon, egg, and cheese salad today for dinner. I bought a variety of mixed greens, radicchio, tomatoes, and red onions. I will add hard-boiled eggs, some crumbled up bacon for me, diced salami for John, shredded cheese, sliced mushrooms, and broccoli heads to the salad concoction. Since the weather is so nice, we will enjoy our chef's salad out on our picnic table. As for Thanksgiving, I bought the spiral ham, which was on sale, and I will be making lasagna. The kids will bring their side dishes, and if they want turkey, then they can bring that too.
