Re: Kabu

Goodness I would think not anyway it is drizzling on and off and I think folk are getting a bit worried about the price of everything. Just a few isolated banging at present, animals hate it. I am not keen.

Re: Pat

Ominous first signs maybe, one cannot wonder really we have not experienced such a run on resources or the ever increasing demand being made on the earth.

Re: Good Afternoon Goldiec

Black squirrel that is most unusual. We have grey ones rather despised and so called red ones which are protected, as the grey ones are killers.

Good Morning

We have walnut trees too!  Our squirrels have been getting lots of nuts this year.  I hope you do have a warmer-than-usual winter for everyone.  It would be a blessing.  We were shopping in a suburb near us yesterday and we saw a black squirrel.  Our squirrels are all brown.

Now that you mention sweater, I realize that I am cold.  I need to turn up the heat, or dress warmer, or crawl into a warm bed....a harbinger of a cold winter I rear.

Good evening

We have walnut trees at our local park. It is where all of the little furry friends gather for a feast.

The walnut that grows in my neighbor's back yard and reaches

over my garage as well, is always the last tree to green up in the spring, and the first to lose its leaves in the fall. This year, as you have observed, its leaves stuck with it until after the maples began to turn and lose their leaves. The climate seems to be changing.

Guy Fawkes, I haven't celebrated that for years. In Australia November is moving in to Summer dry so having a bon- fire or too much fireworks of any kind is dangerous for big fires to start. Finally something clicked in someone's brain a good few years ago and it was stopped.
