My oldest grandchild has a birthday today too. He just tured 32, has a wife is daddy to 2 of my great granchildren. I made him a box of fudge for his day. Happy Birthday to you!

I'd heard the Teddy Bear story when I was a little kid. The president at
that time was also a Roosevelt, but it was FDR, not Theodore. Franklin D. was the guy in charge during WWII, and only later did we learn he was in a wheelchair because of Polio. It was in his name they started the March of Dimes to find a cure for that dread virus and later on, other conditions.
