Good Morning

I'm really surprised that eBay did this to you.  We always give tips when we eat out even if we are just picking up from the pizza place.  We always have and always will do that.  We automatically figure it into our bill.  We give 20% or more because we know how hard everyone works.

Re: Good afternoon

I grew up waitressing for my parents. I learned at an early age that if you don't have the money to tip then either make it yourself or go to fast food and pick it up yourself. I have gone without drinking anything but water to make sure I had enough to pay a tip. Sure, I don't eat out as often, but when I do I make sure to tip the server.

Good afternoon

I'm sorry that you are feeling the wrath of the economy. Some people just do not get it. Once upon a time tips were everything to me, especially when I waitressed and delivered pizza for Dominoes and Pizza Hut back in the 80s and 90s. Today, I give 20% simply because I know how hard the food business is on a body, mind, and soul. Not everyone believes in this. We dine out frequently with other couples. I see where many people simply do not tip. One excuse is that they believe that the tip is included in the bill, the other is that the meal was already too expensive.
