There are signs everywhere here for help wanted cause no one is working I guess. it IS hard to write with people around distracting you. And the high cost of food is causing everyone to pause and try to think of ways to stretch a buck. i have a pork roast in the oven and it should be good for at least two meals plus a lunch. Not all at once though.

It is concerning if there aren't enough people to clean up the roadways after a snow. That makes things so dangerous, especially if there is need for first responders to a place.

Good morning
The crazy part about the weather is that it will be back in the 70s by Saturday. Autumn is fighting back since we still have nearly two months before the first day of winter begins. As for the high grocery prices, we are smack dab in the middle of a recession, and I heard on the news this morning that the worst hasn't even begun yet. Chicken and veggies sound good. I purchased rye bread and swiss cheese yesterday for my tuna melts, so I plan to use the rest of the loaf and the cheese for Reuben sandwiches for our dinner today. I just have to run and buy some corned beef and sauerkraut. I will serve them with my leftover potato soup. Stay warm and have a good day.

From my earliest memory, I've always been a bit OCD. I hate to be
interrupted in the middle of a task, even the ironing! Being a mom means you "never" get to start and finish just about anything without the kids distracting you. So now that I'm alone 90% of the time and can work uninterrupted, I have no one to blame but myself if nothing gets done. Your veggies with olive oil sound great - I like baked chicken with a bit of lime juice added in the last few minutes in the oven - they seem to be compatible flavors. Stay warm.
