It's cold there already! So be sure to dress warmly as I know you will - or did, by now.

it's cold so I hope you are wearing pants and a sweater. Maybe a scalf around your neck.

Re: Re: I like my skirts below the knee too.

Socks are not my favorite since I love going barefoot or wearing sandals, but I do wear socks with my boots.

Re: C_C_T

The first Christmas after we married (1958), my hubby bought me one for Christmas.  But being young and in my prime, I didn't much need it for warmth and I wasn't much of a show off.  Don't have any idea now what I did with it.  I know it hung in the closet for years and years.

Once you could have had a fox fur. Or a fur coat. Keep warm.

Re: Goldiec

I really love pretty and warm sweatshirts three seasons out of the year.

Re: Sherri_G

I don't wear dresses anymore but i certainly do like skirts that come below the knees usually with a sweater on my top half or a pretty sweatshirt.  Inside at my place I only wear nice warm socks even in the winter.  I don't wear shoes unless I'm going outside.

Re: For some reason I've been feeling chilled for several weeks now,

It certainly helps.  I always feel warmer if I have one on my head.

Good afternoon

Hats are a smart choice for fighting off the chill. I don't wear them, but John does. I do love a scarf though. The changing season is messing with me too. I wear dresses or shorts for most of the warmer months. I still wear dresses during the colder months, but they are longer. Jeans, boots, and a warm blouse are what I have turned to this past week. I have a beautiful Navy peacoat that will work for winter, but for now I wear a light jean jacket.

The temps sure changed quickly. It sounds like a good day to stay inside.

For some reason I've been feeling chilled for several weeks now,

layering up with an undershirt, sweatshirt and a bulky sweater even though the thermostat says it's 74 or 75 degrees in the house. I went through and put all the summer tees, long-sleeved shirts, etc. in the laundry basket - they'll go in the summer storage bin or the Goodwill bag when they come out of the dryer. Not looking forward to frost, days with chill factors in the weathe forecast, or snow. I hope your crocheted beanie keeps you toasty warm.

Good Morning

I vote for a winter sweatshirt.  They are so warm.  I'm wearing one too!
