A pear [for me] must be picked fresh and ripe from a tree and I eat it immediately. best of all it used to taste delicious if it was stolen from my Aunties tree!!

I like a pear or two in the autumn, but don't crave them regularly as I

do apples. I hope his experiment with pear honey brings him some yummy stuff he can wrap for Christmas...

Re: FSI

It is pears and pineapple cooked together with sugar into great type of preserves.

Good afternoon

When I was a kid we had a pear tree. It never did produce much fruit and the ones that it did were hard and sour.

On my property, when my grandmother had it, there was an apple tree and a pear tree. They both died. I would like to bring those back.

Never heard of pear honey before.

I remember talking of pears .We were only young kids we looked through a fence and saw this tree loaded with pears, we ran across and filled our jerseys. Of course they were quinces .
