There is no good celery here either! Wonder what's going on with that? Sounds like you are getting ready for winter. It's just starting to cool down here to where you need a jacket it sweatshirt.

My oyster stew turned out really good.  First I've made since last years cooler weather.  Son refused to try it, he likes shrimp and Sis is feeling porely so I have it all to myself.

Of course here we were more or less banned from using coal unless it is a certain treated product. A while ago many bought wood burning stoves , but there is not that amount of trees available and when one puts a small piece of log on the fire it is literally like burning money. Good luck with the plants the only ones I can get to thrive indoors is violets.

I imagine there's going to be a lot of wood burning this year with the prices being what they are and what not.

Good morning

Thanks for the reminder. I just checked my weather app and we will be having the same weather conditions as you are. I love days like this. John and I have our dinner outdoors on our patio when it's nice outside. I love oven roasted butternut squash too. I'm not sure what we will be eating today for dinner, but I'm leaning towards burgers, just because it feels like a summer day. John likes jalapeno burgers and I prefer a bacon or mushroom burger. Enjoy your day!
