Good afternoon
Those spots and marks on my windows and floors were cleaned over the weekend. I am a real strickler over household chores, and my windows are all clean so that the sun can shine through on my ferns and herbs.

Re: Kabu
ATISHOO! NEVER MIND IT WILL BE FINE BY CHRISTMAS. I think the folk value there privacy too much around here. Most of the country small cottages have been bought as second holiday homes. House prices are quivering as the interest rate goes up.
A bungalo near me was on the market for Four hundred thousand plus, but it is not being snapped up like it would have been.

Re: FS
No the Dahlias will keel over at the first frost. Just a matter of waiting for it.

Re: Pat
Pat most houses have large windows double glazed, so it would not be a big problem.
One could lie in bed and watch the television. Yes a small heater might be needed
upstairs.

Re: Taps
Taps, it is still moderately mild round here once we were few and far between .Now we are surrounded by estates and Nursing homes. It does tend to make it feel warmer.

Re: Good Morning Goldiec
Fortunately we can get good deliveries, It is the same old thing, if one has money, no problem. Sadly so many live beyond their means and the rising costs are pushing them over the edge.

Good Morning
If I lived close by I would stop for some free flowers but then I would give you money too. I love flowers. I think it's always a good idea to save heat but I hope everyone remembers their pipes. Thankfully you are going to have a mild winter so the heating bills won't be too high. I've yet to figure out if our winter will be off the chart or mild. I'm hoping for mild after the summer we had. I hope you've brought in extra food, tea, and anything else you will need for the cold months. Don't forget batteries and water just in case. Enjoy your day.

So far my old bones have felt the lowering temperatures and I keep warm blankets to wrap around myself when sitting at the tv or reading books, and always a cup of hot coffee or hot tea or hot lemonaid.

The idea of living in the lower level for the winter seems very
sensible to me, although it may feel rather dark and gloomy unless there is good lighting, maybe some candles around. As long as the upper area can be kept warm enough to avoid freezing the water pipes, it will make the coming spring all the more joyous.

I guess the free flowers won't be around much longer due to the time of the year...One way or the other, the world is going to rush past.
