This is a great post because so many of us are almost afraid to go anywhere they are not familiar lest they should have a call of nature at an inappropiate for them place. And we think this is a modern world?

For goodness sake; a facility for elderly people being despised by the staff. I could get really angry if I dwelt on this.

Well it only needed a raised attachment and perhaps a handle on the wall.
I expect this happens more times than is realised. It is a hard job for some to
lift themselves from a low chair.

Pat, with my issues with my knee I totally understand what people go through when they have anything wrong and that includes age. I wish those in charge would have more compassion for everyone. If they would stop and listen to what is being said maybe they could make a difference.

Good morning
Getting to your feet from a low position is absolutely horrifying. It was never an issue for until I turned fifty. Aging can be a real pistol.
