I hate Alzheimer it took my darling Mother from me some years before she died. I wonder how come your friend didn't see her son and family for so many years

It's good your friend got to see her once. That was a blessiing. Sad that she is in assisted-living now.

That's a real shame that they lost touch. Alzheimer's is not a friend to a struggling mind which doesn't help with locating old pals.

Sadly time sometimes appears to have passed so quickly. It is nice to remember the
good things even when we cannot verify what has happened.
