The leaves on some of our trees just dropped off, too dry to cling and turn colour.
I hope you get some good pictures.

Good morning
Safe January travels! It is becoming really expensive to take a trip. We are headed to Massachusetts to do the same as you, to take a "leaf peeking" trip. I love your wording. Cute. This is my favorite time of year. The colors are simply mesmerizing. God is quite the artist.

Driving through the Rockies and northern plains any time after
the first of October can be tricky - I drove cross-country one October and got lucky, because I'd stopped to reconnoiter in a couple places, visited my sister who lived in Colorado Springs at the time - and dodged all the slick & treacherous stretches. The trip was SO worth it, but these days I'm a bit less inclined to take such chances. Have fun!

Good Morning
Ciel, do you ever save beautiful leaves that you come across. Years ago I used to save them and iron them between two pieces of wax paper. The kids and I would do a craft project.
