I will be excited to see my naughty little old Gnome brigade again and cannot thank you enough for all you have done for them. You must tell all the Gnomes that your group have an invitation to come here to visit next Spring.They all have a special place to be when other humans are around but the rest of the time they can play.

I bought the apple-scented corn in the hunting section at Walmart. The deer go crazy for it. We buy bags of black sunflower seeds too. Shrimp and grits are yummy. I believe that Delicious Miss Brown has a recipe for them. Of course, being from the south as you are, this is what I call, good eating. I found the recipe...

Sherri, I think our animals are having a feast right now. They should have plenty to eat this winter. I didn't know they had apple-scented corn. Roy just got a bag of sunflower seeds for the birds this winter. Now if we can keep the deer from eating it. I've never had grits with shrimp but I would like to try it.

I'm seeing a ton of acorns everywhere. It looks like the squirrels are going to have more acorns than they can eat, a great situation for them.

Good morning
One of John's childhood favorites is chicken noodle soup. I make it for him in the cooler months. As for those grits, I tried them for the first when we vacationed in New Orleans. I had them once at breakfast, and again at dinner with shrimp. I love the dinner version the best. The deer steal our bird food too even though I leave them apple scented corn on the ground. We have two little chipmunks battling the squirrels and the crows for the peanuts. The animals are all preparing for winter so I guess they are attempting to store food and fatten up. Anyway, enjoy your day.
