One insurance company pulled out of Florida right before the hurricane. Several more are going to as well. It's scary!

Pat, I had to smile when I read your comment. I was thinking the same thing. I would want a house that was in the mountains too. I would not want beachfront property. I would rather deal with the snow, wind, and ice.

Sherri, I had no idea the insurance companies are going bankrupt because of the massive claims. That is not a good sign for any of us. I hope you have fun at the party. I'm glad it's inside. Have fun with the kids.

If I were living on beachfront property in Florida, I'd be
hunting a realtor to sell it for me while I went looking for a house in the mountains.

Yes, I'd say it's autumn moving in!
I'm also feeling appalled by the destruction from this storm that has not quit yet, though it has calmed down compared to the first landfalls. Insurance companies will be feeling it, but not nearly as much as those who had none or not enough or the wrong kind.

Good morning
I feel so sorry for the people in Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Virginia. I read that insurance companies are going bankrupt due to massive claims. I pray that all works out for everyone for the best. We are headed out to Joni's birthday party today. It is raining and dreary. We plan to hang out indoors and then end the evening by watching Hocus Pocus 2 with the kids. Have a great day!

I love the way your posts always make it sound like your family eats well. I wish that kind of meals/eating for all of the poor people that have their lives interrupted by storms and fires and terror of any kind, and just plain old hunger.
