It looks like we're going to get some sort of hurricane remnant in Maryland starting tomorrow night. I'm praying for the best.

I hope you have found an easy fix for dinner. We might just have a tuna san and salad dince it's warm here. Summer's swan song...Good luck with your book.

Your autumn sounds like it's taking itself pretty seriously!

I'm sure you will come up with an excellent dinner! I'd be going for a good autumn soup, maybe with butternut squash, corn, and dashes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.

Good afternoon

The people in Florida certainly need our prayers. That storm sounds worse than the last hurricanes. It rained earlier this morning, but the sun is now fighting its way through the clouds. It's chilly outside, but my house is all warm and toasty from the oven. I do the same as you with my plastic bowls. I have a rack that I sit them in for air drying. After dinner, I am planning on dragging John to the store to shop for some new tops. For whatever reason, I have started wearing longer sleeved blouses. Maybe it's due to my getting older and becoming chilled easier. Anywho, have a good day.

The sun is gorgeous here and the temperature just right for getting out and walking, though I haven't done that yet.  I used to always walk first thing in the morning after getting up, but that habit has gone by the wayside.

It was 40 degrees here this a.m., almost cold enough to frost.

Quite a change from last Tuesday's high of 97 degrees. At least it's not flooding or blowing 90 miles an hour here.  Stay warm & safe.
