It's interesting how our passions often end up setting us up for life.

Did anyone read Robert Lewis Stevenson's "Treasure Island"?  As a kid I read it so many times I could practically quote it.

Re: Kabu

I know what you mean...Sister Barbara and I used to sing in the choir together.  We just loved it.   Nila's a good choir singer too.

I just loved Gilbert and Sullivan but those songs were Not easy to sing. I used to do so much singing back in the day. Musicals Church Solos, solos for women's church groups my favorite was Chior singing.

Good afternoon

I love the theater, plays, and great movies. My friend, Lori owns our theater down in the Borough where I live. I have never seen a play that featured pirates, but that sounds really interesting, especially when your own child is playing one of the character roles. I enjoyed watching Kevin Kline in the 1983 movie, The Big Chill with Glenn Close, Tom Berringer, and a few other great actors. It had a really good soundtrack too. Kevin Kline ended up marrying one of my favorite actresses who played in one of my favorite 80s movies. Phoebe Cates starred in Fast Times At Ridgemont High along with a young Sean Penn. IMHO, the 80s were the best.
