Yes I am sure we soon had immunity to scratches and stings . I was always falling down on our gritty road I can still feel it now, but a quick wash and a plaster and up one jumped and ran off again.

Those were the days when kids played outside. Nowadays you hardly see any kids outdoors. It's a shame.
