I have no idea if there are gargoyles guarding the castle gate or not - this post is 100% fiction from beginning to end... But I do know there are gargoyles on buildings from the middle ages and in England and other parts of Europe many of these still stand.

Pat, I had no idea about the gargoyles. I wonder why they were picked so long ago. I think I would have picked an angel. I think the new King is going to have his work cut out for him. It's not going to be easy and he's lost his dear mother and that in itself is painful.

I hope that the people of the Monarchy will be continuously praying for their King, as he begins his reign. The world is in an uproar everywhere, and something positive is needed everywhere. Great imagination you have, and I love the discussion of the gargoyles.

I can imagine that he is in quite a quandary right about now. It would be almost impossible to step in and take over seven decades worth of ruling by a monarch who was loved and respected and is now being replaced by a total turd who is viewed by many as nothing more than a moron.
