- Go to WAR AND RUMORS OF WAR...
I am finishing a book titled The Immortals. It's a fictional story that is very close to the truth so far. I'm not sure about the character who does the narrating. It's about JFK, RFK and Marilyn. There's some information left out. I'm in the final pages. I did find out new things.

I do understand about your teacher I had a history teacher so strict part of me waas terrified but I admired her. She was the best teacher I ever had. I did very well in History and still am learning something every few days.

There is nothing better than a good book for entertainment and for learning. It even beats blogging.

I can imagine that teacher, I quite enjoyed reading this . Of course in the second war
it took a tragic happening. I remember as a boy the news came over that USA was in
war against the enemy. If that had not happened it would have been curtains.

Good Afternoon
Pat, War is always so scary to me. My uncle was in the second World War and I knew people that were in Vietnam and the stories I have heard are heart-wrenching.

Good morning
It sounds like a promising read. My father-in-law went to war in the 1950s. It wasn't as bad as some of the other wars fought over the past few centuries, but no war is ever a good war when there is death and destruction, and obviously, some have resulted in more deaths than others. As for really good stories, I found your story of the teacher and her lessons, and the classroom behavior to be quite entertaining as well. Your descriptions of people, places, and time are absolutely brilliant and engaging.
