Kabu, I think I'm a lot stricter than you.  I require everyone to take a shower before bedtime and they have to be in bed no later than 9 p.m.  Your gnomes are getting used to the routine.  I think they are so tired from going to the Metroparks that they just want to sleep.

Taps, when it gets really hot sometimes I microwave something.  I can't handle the heat in the kitchen.  As far as the garden goes that's really something that Roy loves to do but I love cooking with fresh vegetables.

What is your recipe>> The Gnomes go to bed at night while it is still summer and they are being good. Sigh! They must love you a great deal to be so good. Or do I spoil them

I don't usually like to go anywhere away from home, but I think even I would like to come visit you for a week and see everything you do and cook and garden, etc.

John and I both loved your spaghetti sauce. It was a really nice visit. I love the area that you live in. It is so peaceful and there are so many wild animals roaming around. You are as close to heaven on earth as one can get.

Sherri, I'm so glad you like my spaghetti sauce.  My kids love it too.  I really believe the longer the sauce is in the fridge the better it tastes.  I think that might be the old-school way because most people do not make their sauce like I do.  I'm so glad you felt welcome when you came.  I wanted you to feel right at home.  I have to say that you and John are two of the nicest people ever!  My grandkids love it here.  We will probably be talking about your visit until the end of time.

We had a thunderstorm last night - which left fairly soon and we

could see the full moon was trying to pierce the cloud cover without much luck. It'll be chilly here today, only reaching about 72 for a high; the good news is it won't cost much to run the air conditioning today...  My older daughter's birthday is 4 days away, she'll be 39 again...

Good morning

I woke up to rain too. Pretty soon our grass will be up to our knees if we can't get it cut. Your son, Mike is going to have a delicious birthday dinner. Your sauce really is over the top with flavor and ingredients. The three-day cooking trick makes all of the difference. Those visiting gnomes were lucky little guys to be visiting your home. It is cozy and so welcoming.
