I guess I do kinda agree with your list. I would see real equality between men and women, not the on again off again thing that seems to be happening around us as the World seems bent on going back into an era of rich getting richer and women learning their real duty to men who must dominate them because they are um...shhshshs second class citizens. being different to male which is the perfect form, woman is not quite a human.

As long as no-one insists on a return of the curtsy; I would surely fall right on my butt in the attempt!

I think that if a child is not taught manners and courtesies by his/her parents, they will not be interested in learning/doing it later.

Re: Sherri G,

Yes, not blocking the aisles or sidewalk, or parking in more than one space--or over the area designated for handicapped use! I have that handicapped placard on my mirror, but even so, try not to use the spaces designated for vans. Even when there is no law, it is simply good manners not to obstruct others!

Good morning

My hubby still opens the door for people. Old school manners are something that we learned early on. My biggest courtesies are not blocking the aisle in stores, saying please, thank you, and excuse me. Good manners are so underrated today.
