Good Morning
I hope you have a wonderful start to the new week. I give Archie credit and hope he is feeling better. Yesterday I had a cup of mint tea and I thought of you. If you would have been here I would have made you a cup of tea.

Re: Pat
Pat the good times are over everyone is starting to strike because of inflation and you know what that does, makes it harder for everyone. Also the fuel prices because of the war are now going through the roof. I suppose there is always candles.

Re: Taps
I know housing is cheaper over your side, but here the pinch is becoming a bite.

Re: Good afternoon Sherri
Bad time to buy houses here they have topped. A grant has finished and those not
on a fixed payment will soon suffer. Especially as the fuel prices are soaring three
thousand v five hundred annual as an estimate. I remember when folk just dropped
thje frontr door key inside the house and tried to disappear.

That is really strange we never or hardly ever lose a dahlia sure it was not slugs they are beggers for them. Question, well I am too modest to enquire.

Oh dear, I forgot to answer your question about my Dahlias. Lost them during that huge storm we had
. Everything in the gardens flattened by the wind. Most of the others sprung back, but not the dahlais. Now this sinner you have trained, would it be of male or female persuasion?

I am using both cans and a hose. we have no restrictions here although one of the two rivers is wide sand bars and a few pools of water. Don't over do things any of you.

Good afternoon
Watering cans do take a long time. I use two of them to water my potted flowers and raised beds when the heat is too much. My rain barrel empties out fast, and the trips back and forth are monotonous, but it beats running up my water bill. Fuel costs are slowly coming down, but not fast enough. Our groceries are still high because of this issue. The housing market is absolutely ridiculous right now. The prices are escalated at a time when people are still trying to recover from economic losses.

My New York City Nephew just bought a two-bedroom condo on the New Jersey side. It would be interesting to know what he had to pay for it, though I don't usually ask those kind of questions. Now they are trying to get themselves situated in it.

The housing market is chilling here, too - with interest rates going
up, a monthly mortage on the house that would have cost 1200 a month will cost close to 1500 - which means folks can't afford so much house. I hope inflation gets back to a workable number, I hate to think of moms and little kids going hungry because the cost of healthy food is on the rise.

It does seem that the housing market is cooling from what it once was.
