They are very big on keeping a clean image of the Navy. Anyone caught in trouble had serious consequences even if on base. His so-called friend or roommate should have told the court that he had been advised by his friend to not get involved.

Well that seems most unfair to me. I would be off to see Navy heads and sneding letters to the newspapers. I guess that is why Mark may have not told you.

Good afternoon
Since it was told to him when he was half asleep he probably didn't put too much thought into it. That's a shame that he was held accountable for not saying anything. He sure did live a hard life, but I am also sure that you and his dad were proud of him.

Oh, that's a shame. Poor kid. So many are still getting in trouble out
of misplaced loyalty. I'd have kept it a secret, too.
