There was one teacher I didn't like very much, my Biology teacher, so I prepared my Dad's old "rattlesnake eggs" joke and sat it on his desk before class began. He was always bugging us to bring in "specimens". He always leaned his chair back and put his feet on the desk while teaching. He was in the middle of it when he noticed the envelope marked "rattlesnake eggs" and leaned over and picked it up When he started opening it, it went off and he jumped so hard he and the chair went over backward. When he got up off of the floor, he was so mad that I never did confess to him it was my doing.

That was a really cruel nickname to give Dad and a poor example from a teacher. Good for Dad getting even, I am sure the detention was worth it.

FSI, I really don't believe that it would be tolerated by a teacher at this point in time to call a student Fat Man. I'm sorry your Dad got detention but I think on this one particular occasion the teacher deserved it. I can just see the beads falling on the ground and the teacher picking up hot beads. That would have been an awesome video. Then your Dad could have replayed it for his friends. Sometimes people get what they deserve.
