C_C_T, it's not going to be easy watering everything with a can. We have a water barrel that we use and the rain fills it up. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Sherri, I love listening to the rain. We've had some loud thunder. We have lots of peppers from the garden for winter. Stuffed manicotti sounds so good and so do Italian peppers. We all love pasta salad. I hope you have a wonderful day.

It probably is yelling at the squirrel - happens all the time between the blue jays and squirrels here. They squabble for the same food. A warning - if one of Kabu's gnomes is carrying a half empty bottle of spirits when they arrive - beware!!

I am hoping for a few weeks of more tolerant weather our hose pipe ban starts Wednesday so we shall have to decide what to water via the watering can.

Good morning
The rain kicked it into high gear at midnight. It has rained off and on since then. My favorite part of it is the thunder boomers. Our raised beds are fully stocked with produce and herbs. I will have to pick them all and meal plan just like you are doing. John requested stuffed manicotti with homemade marinara sauce, so that will happen this week, as well as stuffed Italian peppers. Other than that, I am winging it. Your gnomes will have fun on their little picnic. Pasta salad will be the perfect side dish for their tiny little burgers.

Storms are rolling in, even as summer is waning. We had a little rain
here but the main storms went around us, thank goodness. This is a good time of the year for picking up ripe watermelons at the farmer's markets.

It sounds like a refreshing day! The rain will wash all the dust off the trees and gardens, and perk up all the tired-looking plants, and the cool day will do the same for wilting Clevelanders!
