Just finished the second night of a dinner from a roast Thatbi made the day before yesterday. It was half price at $10 so well worth it plus tgere is/was enough for at least two lunches/sandwiches. Also made a Costco run today. Got the croissants, which freeze well for about a month. Will share sone with my daughter. Food is outrageous these days. Sounds like you are on top of things.

Re:

Annicita, I know you have been busy.  You have a lot going on with your new place.  I'm still recovering from my leg injury but slowly it's getting better.

Re:

FSI, I love Costcos but we shop at Sam's too and we used to shop at BJ's.  They are all nice and have good prices.

Re: Good afternoon

Sherri, it's been cooler here in the evenings too.  I love my candles.  I think my all-time favorite candle scent is vanilla but I love cinnamon and apple too.  I hope you have a good night.

Re: Candles can be dangerous if left unattended. I've seen people sit them

Pat, I'm just like you and I'm very cautious when I use my candles.  Your casserole sounds delicious.  They said on the weather this morning we shouldn't get rain but it sure looks cloudy outside right now.  I hope you have a good night.

I know I have been bad about reading your posts. I am working my way backwards and hopefully catch up soon.

I do not have any Costcos near me. I know they're super popular nationwide due to their prices.

Good afternoon

I love candles too. I have a drawer and two shelves full of every scented candle known to man. I especially love the pumpkin, cinnamon, and apple-scented candles. I put them on the porch and light them when John and I sit outdoors. I light them at the dinner table, and I love lighting them when we watch television. I usually wait for the cooler weather before lighting them, but this past week actaully felt like Fall in the evening.

Candles can be dangerous if left unattended. I've seen people sit them

on a window-sill, not thinking about the possibility that curtains might blow around and catch the flame. Never used to worry me, but these days I set a candle in the center of a plate. Planning to make a batch of my rice/lentil/chicken casserole in the crock pot this morning. We've got stormy weather forecast for Saturday.
