Good Afternoon

Oh my!  Blood poisoning is very scary.  Thank goodness he was okay.

Re: Kabu

I think they knew the possibilities but decided they had to keep the fellows working.  Mark probably was not the first to be effected by lead paint.  Mark also told me that when a sailor had to move around in the radar area he could feel it in his teeth.

Good afternoon

How great that he can get around on a bicycle. I would love to travel around like that, but we have too many hills here in my area.

That's a nasty ailment he found himself with...I can't imagine biking 40 miles to go anywhere.

What a trip was that.

Crikey I would think forty miles a bit wild. He must have been as fit as ever after his injury.

Re: Pat

They had lockers you could rent on the base off the ship for stuff like that.  He could only use it in Japan cause he couldn't take it with him when on sea duty.

Plenty to worry about and pray over when your son is on sea duty.

Just wondering where he kept that cherry red bicycle when he got back to the ship.
