Re: CCT
He did lead a quieter life after he got out of the USNavy. He and Patti were very satisfied to cook out in their yard, have friends over, visit hers and his parents and siblings, etc. In other words live more normally.

Mark had an experience far greater than most. I suppose he did not need a great lot eventually.

Mark was very much persuaded by the fact that his Dad had been in the Navy and he very much was proud of his Dad and loved his Dad even though his Dad could be a bit difficult to deal with at times.

Being in the navy was a way to see the world for a young man who
didn't have a family fortune that would let him go in style. I think Mark's view of it all was much more real and meaningful. So grateful you're sharing his story with us.

I remember being fascinated by the concept of rickshaws when I was little and learned of them. I always wanted to ride in one. Thanks for reminding me. What great letters.

Good Morning
WoW! I don't like the sound of wild boars, pythons, and volcanic holes in the jungle. Thank goodness your son was safe.

Good evening
Oh good lord! If the wild boars didn't eat you, the Pythons would. I would have never made it through those circumstances. Your son was a strong willed man.
