Re: Kabu,
That has also been my experience with cats, many of which I had from kitten to old age. Pixie is now spending time beside me a lot more than the first weeks she was here. Not usually touching, but in my company.

Re: CCT,
Had a horse for a while, but no cart.
One of my fondest memories of my extreme youth was riding in a horse-drawn buggy in a parade with my grandparents. No idea what the occasion was. I was 4 or 5.

Picie chops Agent of hilarious fun to read about, is just so precious. Yes a youngster is a lot of work and as she gets older she will cuddle more. Graysome was a year old when I collected him from rescue and he had never learned to cuddle on a lap.

Well you are making the best of it, don't you wish you had a horse and cart?

Re: Pat,
Also, to not take slight rises in numbers too seriously! Only by giving up entirely, do they go in that direction for more than a moment... or a day... or a week...
When I test the blood-sugar, I can test two or three times in a row, in the same 5 minute span, and get hugely different results. So I go with the average, and don't worry about it.
Let the celebration continue!

Re: Sherry G,
Yes, it's a truck with a 34-gallon tank.
The lowest price around here that I've spotted is 4.09, I think.

Good morning
Excuse me while I cough at the price of your gas station fill.
You must drive a truck, SUV, or a Sherman Tank. Either way, that is ridiculous. We have been paying $53.00 for a full tank for our mid-sized car. I can't wait for the gas prices to come back down.

One day at a time, one foot in front of the other, sometimes boring.
This is all a reason to celebrate the lower numbers, the itsy bitsy progress...
