Re: Re: Ciel
Kids have, perhaps, a larger reality to play with. The older kids in your poem have shrunk down to one hemmed in by walls against disappointment. "Say no before someone else does."
The grandmother's reality is probably just as large as she can handle. I understand that: mine no longer includes fancy new tech devices, for instance, or romance.

Re: Ciel
I suppose Ciel one has be realistic. Perhaps when young one can hardly tell yes from no.

That kid knew some stuff his grandmother either never knew or forgot along her way. Life in a body is so... distracting!
He and She were adept at creating realities out of their saddest expectations.

Yes or you would have been on that motor-cycle. Bet you don't remember that.

Good afternoon
You nailed this one my friend. Love is a fickle bitch sometimes.

Being young and in lust mistaken for true love....It can be really painful. This poem says it all; took me back many years.

Sometimes grownups say doubtful, paltry things to children after they've
become disappointed that their youthful vision of the end of the universe has faded.
