Now days the US Navy is so different than it was when Mark was there. Now everything is computerized and there is not any longer any Signalmen. All communication is done by a meriad of computers on the bridge.

I always enjoy Mark's personal experiences and his loving eloquence in his letters to you, and then he ties in an event that connects us all in shared history. It's like that thing of us all looking up at the same moon.
