Thank you. Then it seems I have to get rid of a few things or think it through better. A leftover problem from downsizing. Two desks are the probkem - or is it a couch? Eeeii!

Good afternoon
Rearranging can be quite therapeutic. I do it about twice a year.

Re: adnohr,
I will really enjoy it when the back and hip quit whining about it!

Re: Sea Gypsy,
I find it helps to put things where they will fit, and not bother with getting everything in its perfect place. Otherwise, it gets a lot harder to change it up again later, since it's already 'perfect.' Have fun with your arranging!

Re: Pat,
I actually have a package of those... somewhere! But I didn't want to go digging through the house to find them. Next time I spot them, though, I will 'install' them.

I like Pat's idea - think I'm going to try that. It's refreshing when we change things around for a new look but, in your case here, so much work, so will be appreciated even more!!

That was quite a feat! Congratulations on getting it done. I have been walking between two rooms, measuring and trying to decide "what am I going to do with this?"

I can just see this happening. Perhaps at some point it might be an
idea to get some of those furniture glides that work like saucers under the "feet" of the couch. They slide across wood floors easily, and would probably be less resistant to sliding on carpet than the square wooden feet of the couch. Probably a good idea to recruit someone with upper back strength to hoist the couch a couple of inches while someone else slides the glide beneath the foot.
