I have always liked the drama of a good thunderstorm, though when it's so dry and tindery now the fear of wild fires makes them more alarming. As for wind... plenty of that here! Sometimes too much, when it gets over 30mph.

Yes, I've heard that, too: The rays that burn are not stopped by clouds. And some medications make it worse--at least one of which I'm on. We are also a mile or more higher in the atmosphere, and that also makes a difference.

I am also at my best living in the 60 and70 degrees. The humidity doesn't seem such an issue then. Colorado Springs seems to have conditions that are often better than anywhere else, being right on the edge of mountains and plains. I loved summers in the Puget Sound area for over 30 years, but now it seems they too are experiencing extremes of heat, and wild fires such as we never had back then.

Much the same as weather up here, except for the occasional windy thunder storm. I prefer it to the heat, as would most people, I imagine. My Dunany Demons must be on vacation

Well I was told by a reliable source that even if one cannot see the sun the radiation
still comes through, so it is still advisable to use sun cream lotion.

Good afternoon
The 70s are the perfect temperature for my liking. I would take it all year long if I could. For whatever reason, we are hanging in the low 70s today here in Pittsburgh. It has been softly raining off and on all day, and there is a soft wind blowing. I am loving it! The humidity that we normally get here makes me miss the dry heat of the west coast.
