Have you made a decision to follow up on this? Curiosity would probably make me want to find out the 'why' exactly but, then again, the director's actions at the time (obviously her blantant jealousy of your work) could make me think 'no way!'.

Not sure how I would handle this; probably just ignore it unless called again. I have never got over how you were treated after all you had given to the center.

Well they did the dirty on you, a little apologetic approach might have seemed more appropriate. I guess no one cares much about past deeds unless they are bad ones.

Or you could wait and see if they make another approach, which would indicate just possibly that they really want you back. Then you can add that into the scales of whether you want to, or no.

I love it that they have not forgotten you in the months that you have been gone. I'm afraid I would be curious that I would have to find out what's going on even if I was determined to never again be a part of it.

Good morning
It would appear that your name has come up in conversation as a vital contributor to the group. Maybe there is a new sheriff in town, but there is only one way to find out. Monday morning at the center is calling your name. No harm, no foul for checking out the bases. After all, they did reach out to you. Tag, you're it.

Good Morning
Pat, I think you are more content since you gave up your volunteer position. It was becoming too stressful but I will say I would have loved to be in the writing class. I know you had an awesome group of people that would come to class. I think it was so nice because you actually cared about them. There are not many places a person can go where someone will truly encourage them.
