- Go to Good Morning from Cleveland
This is getting back to the era of the cold war. I remember American children practicing sitting under their desk if a bomb shouls come over. Like that was going to do a lot of help. I think myself that any nuclear bomb would most likely be sent over canada to the USA and America would destroy it up North somewhere. We prayed back then, we can only pray again.

Good morning
What a shame that we have to fear for our children's safety while they attend school. I don't remember anything like this when I went to school. Your pasta salad sounds very festive with all of those colored peppers. You should take a photo of it and share it. I am glad to hear that your arm feels better. Going through life in pain reduces the quality of life severely. Have a good day. We are headed out later to downtown for some dancing in the streets. Tonight will feature the Beatles tribute band, The Nowhere Men.

I'm shocked by how quickly July is going. Really, it's been a fast year.

Re: The news on "Good Morning, America" seems anything but good
Pat, I think you are right about the good old days. I often wonder how the kids can handle everything that's going on in schools today. I think they do because they have no choice. This is their reality. In the meantime, Grandma sits home and watches the news, and wonders what the hell is going on.

The news on "Good Morning, America" seems anything but good
these days. It's one darn thing after another. Good on those school officials for taking no chances. I don't know how kids today can concentrate on schoolwork with so much tension in the air about active shooters, etc. It's beginning to seem like the good old days really were that good.
