What great writing. The beautiful and exciting and then that other form of excitement that scares one silly. I am so glad you are sharing with us. Thank you.

Good Afternoon
Wow! This is first-hand knowledge of what took place on the ship. I have to say between the killer whales and the tornado that would just about have finished me off. The Russian plane would have made me a little nervous. My nephew was in the Navy and he said during storms the water would come right over the ship. I simply cannot imagine this. I would have said drop me off at the nearest pier wherever that might be.

Good afternoon
Those tornadoes can be seriously damaging. Thank goodness they were not hurt by the storm.

It is uneasy feeling reading this with the Russians who were circling him. And now with the war in the Ukraine not much has changed.

Re: C_C_T
Oh yes! Grandson Peter's best friend in the US Marines was killed in Afghanistan by a sniper and my great-granddaughter Marianna's uncle was shot down in Iraq with four others. There was nothing left but ashes which they could not separate so they are all buried together in one grave with five names on the tombstone in Arlington National Cemetery. My grandson Dalton saw his US Army buddy blown up. He was very traumatized by it. Anything and everything can happen in the service of ones country.

Of course it could have been such a different story if war had broken out.
Enough tension as it was.
