I grw up in a dry land...make sure to turn off taps don't let them run between needing the water. Hand water the garden with a can dipped into your water drum. Try to use less water at the loo. can you change the level of the height of water used.

But seriously folks, water conservation could include a rain barrel
to collect runoff from gutters along the roofline. Some even have faucet connections a the bottom so you can connect a hose to water your flowers or lawn.

Good afternoon
I have a 100-gallon rain barrel that saves on all of my outdoor watering needs. We keep bottled water in our fridge too. John gets it for free from the steel mill, but it's pretty cheap when bought in bulk at the Dollar stores. Good luck, and I hope that these ideas help you out.

Fall is my favorite season, too. I love the changing of the leaves. One of these days, I want to see a New England fall for myself.
One way to save water is to turn off the shower when shampooing and soaping up.

All of us should be more aware of the need for water conservation but I'm afraid I don't think about it very often.

I have about ten tubs that hold rain water, but they have been empty for a fortnight.
We have to use the tap water, no restriction at present, but I don't know what it will
cost. It is said mulching helps conserve the moisture, but we seem to get wind a lot
of the time and that of course is fatal. I did take a reading F. 92 in the shade that's
quite hot for us. Also of course it is better to water the garden in the evening. My
tomatoes are in pots inside a greenhouse they do need watering twice a day.
