So glad you posted in the comments. he will be fine I am sure. Jim had his prostate removed surgically in February and was home the next day. Covid and an RN at home helped with the quick exit of course but he has had no problems. They keep a close eye on him now for several years,

Just heard from my Rusty at the hospital. Rich is out of surgery,

no problems, no cancer outside the prostate. They're keeping him overnight for observation, so all's going as we hoped.  Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers.

Good afternoon

It's only natural to worry no matter how routine or serious a procedure may be. I am hoping for the best for you and your family. As for Truman Capote,

Of course you are worried, but I suppose the alterative was not viable. Your choice of books does seem helpful. Good news tomorrow hopefully.

Good Morning

Pat, I'm wishing the very best for your son and your family.  I look forward to hearing that everything is okay and your son can recuperate at home.  I'm thinking some big bowls of homemade soup will be just what the doctor ordered.  Chicken soup would be very good during his first few days at home.

May all of you, each and every one, come through this with flying colors and soon get back to normal every day things.
