One must read and study and learn to sift through all of the viewpoints to find the truth.

It is the same in Canada and Australia. Not so big and impressive but we were taught about slaves in America but not in the UK certainly not in Australia nor were we told about the New Zealand Maori  Wars. One must search, read, and travel and discover for oneself.

Good afternoon

Your last paragraph says it all and I 100% agree with you.

Good Morning

Pat, great post.  I think there's always more to the story than what we are told.  It's very sad but true.  We are never told the agenda but yet we are left to deal with it.  When we look back on history it's quite an eye-opener.  I wonder what the agenda is now because it's a mystery to me.  A book that I read a long time ago "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand, it paints a picture of ruthless and wealthy men that tried to make the world the way they wanted it to be.  It did not go as planned.

The sad fact is Pat that memory is very short. A couple of hundred years is really nothing in history. In a way if nothing had been invented and folk had just passed down what they learned from their forbears we probably would have a better idea of the past. History at present probably suits the victor. I know one of my ancestors fought at Waterloo, but not a lot more unless one could trace Church records I suppose. Well another later on went to Australia and married a colored lady. Also some emigrated and are distributed through USA Canada etc.
