Baked beans are a big favorite at my house, but one doesn't want to be around my sons the day after!
Hope you enjoy the fireworks, and get rid of those cutworms!

I really hope you can nobble those cut worms, I really don't know what they are like I will have to look it up on Google tomorrow. I think fireworks should just be allowed on controlled sites, I am sure they are louder than they used to be.

It's sweltering here today, heat advisory in effect from noon and for the
next three or four days, with really high humidity, possibly with occasional severe thunderstorms. I guess it's the day for fireworks, even for Mother Nature. Stay cool and have a very happy 4th.

Baltimore's fireworks are still on. I myself do not go. Too crowded. I'll have some neighbors shoot of theirs. I always worry someone's going to lose a hand or a finger.

Good morning
You are always cooking up something good. You have put me in the mood for hot dogs with mustard and onions. The baked beans on the side sound even better. Like you, we are keeping it low-key today, although we plan to meet the kids and grandkids later today to watch the fireworks over the Monongahela River. They will have concessions, so I think I will search for that hot dog with mustard. Have a happy and safe 4th of July.
