There will have to be an awful lot of bang-flashers tonight to be more than lastnight.  I finally went to sleep last night to the music of bang bang.

Charlie's bears could be collectors items eventually. Perhaps he could even sell

pristine new ones. Virgin bears. I know fireworks are a real nuisance, but I suppose it is grin and bear it time.

Good Evening

I'm hoping you get lots of rain.  It's been quiet today and I haven't heard one BOOM!  I hope tonight is the same.  I'm so glad that Charlie sold 4 bears.  That is really wonderful.

This is my first Independence Day I believe and no I can't really feel much interest in the holiday. I guess I am just a person who has always lived in the Commonwealth and am too old to change.

I have been keeping a weather eye on your region, hoping for some

relief from the drought before it gets too dangerous. It wouldn't break my heart if it rained and stopped all the home-fired noisy fireworks. I remember at least one occasion where a daddy had to step in and roll his little girl to put out a flame caused by a sparkler, but there were other times that we took delight in firing off bottle rockets - aimed over emty lots or the lake... Peace.

Good morning

Uh, oh...I just wrote about rain and the Dog Days of summer. I hope that your day turns bright and sunny.
