Our water bins are empty I don't know how much you pay for water, it will be a real problem in the future. I always remember a forecaster said a calm night and we had the worst storm on record.

We have slugs as big as ones finger. I do keep two or three small ponds to encourage
frogs, hoping they will eat some of them. My old friend worked on the building he would often squash a slug to grease the wheelbarrow if it squeaked

Sorry to here about the cutworms I don't recall seeing any here. I always feed my tomatoes with a seaweed solution. As I said we do get large caterpillers they take big bites.Flag day tomorrow, hope it stays fine for you.

It sounds like weathe reports everywhere are not the most reliable. I've learned the best weather report is what my eyes currently see.

Good Morning, I hope you get rain soon! Our garden plants and flowers love when we get some rain. We are battling the cutworms and I'm just afraid of what might happen to my tomatoes. It's going to be so hot here today but then the rain will arrive by nightfall. I love cinnamon! I use it in a lot of my baked goods. Stay cool on the warm days. I hope you are drinking a cup of tea and enjoying one of the baked goods from your neighbor. Enjoy your day! This is the beginning of our 4th of July holiday. We will be putting out our flag.

Well prices are rising everywhere & no government wants to take the blame... it's the Ukraine war or Covid or something else.... people with fixed incomes are certainly affected with interest rates quite low too...
Tastes differ... what one likes, another may dislike.

I like cinnamon, especially on a warm bun with a bit of icing. I recently
read that it is good for the heart and circulation - although too much sugar is not. I like the notion that you and your neighbors share treats.

They keep promising thunderstorms here, and like yesterday, when they come at all, they are flimsy and have not much effect. They are on the slate for today, but I'll have to see it first before I take their word for it.
