Taps, I plant the flowers but Roy plants the vegetables. You could sit on the patio and watch me plant flowers. I love planting them and they are so pretty. Our flowers are amazing.

Sassy, it's been so cool here today. I'm dreading tomorrow when the heat is back. My hummingbirds were so happy today eating and flying around. I'm thinking possibly because it was cooler today. Roy asked me to freeze the rest of the sloppy joes so he could have them another time.

I think I would like to spend a day with you in your garden land following you around. I can't imagine how you get so much done. I used to work hard but I am a laggard in my old age.

it sound like a lovely family weekend and enjoy today while it isn't so hot. Temperature has climbed well into the 90's now.Will make my sugar water so I can put it outside this evening when it is shady everywhere.

Good afternoon
The winds on Father's Day took down a few branches in my neighborhood. Thankfully, no trees came down. It has been a cool morning. The sun is just now coming out. Your rain today is headed our way on Wednesday. I am making John another steak dinner with a side of parsley and rosemary red potatoes smothered in butter and garlic. Not a fan of steak, I plan to make myself some soup and salad. I would have made the steak for him yesterday had we not have run around shopping and then cruising through the countryside. John cleaned up my leftover sloppy Joe's last week. The Hummingbirds are regular visitors in our yard too. The Blue Jays, Robins, and cardinals are also making their rounds. Enjoy your cool day. Tomorrow is coming with some heat.
