One has to believe in one's character, I do think too many writers involve too many characters readers usually do not have the commitment to carry these in imagination.

I would love to see the old bloke get such a fright to his existence he either died or runs for cover. Something from his past comes back to bite him, half his family turn against him in a deadly fight for financial gain for themselves.

That way she could retire quietly from public life with enough money to live in incredible comfort, her and her Son. Maybe it could end with him, now grown becoming either a great anthropologist or a very nasty threat to the country in some way.

Good Afternoon

Pat, I think the sky is the limit with this story.  I'm thinking maybe an island in the South Seas would be feasible.  The wife would be far away from the Mister and could be at peace with her son.

Good afternoon

You have definitely hit a brick in the wall although the possibilities are endless. I guess that it all comes down to what you want. A happy ending, one that could have many chapters or the death of an already bad marriage. It would be nice to see the Mrs. turn the pages on the Mr. with some sort of unexpected twist that allows for karma to do its job. Good luck.
