It is a most invasive procedure that humbles a human instantly by the prep and the procedure, but he will feel much better afterward. It is wonderful that you are there to offer your assistance and enjoy a good day together.

If he's going for a colonoscopy, then he'll be in a very good frame of
mind afterwards, at least he will be if his procedure goes as mine did years ago. The anesthetic has a lingering effect of making one feel happy, not an enemy in the world.
