Son Stephen (P.D.) brought a big boquet of peonies out of his yard today. He always remembers me when he has something pretty. He knows I love flowers.

I've never been to a Japanese restaurant before. I'd like to try one of those steakhouses where you see them cook your meat.

It does change quickly weatherwise. We do not have air conditioning, I suppose we do not get it hot enough. Although I do have a fan that would blow a door shut. I expect some folk have a/c I'll have to ask.

Pat, stay safe during the storms. I hope you don't lose your electricity. It started raining when we were doing our errands. The wind really picked up and I was afraid our garbage cans would blow over but thankfully they did not for once.

Sassy, the rain has arrived. It actually started raining while we were out doing our errands. I will share pictures of my hanging baskets on Facebook. They are so pretty. I hope you have a wonderful vacation. It will be nice to see your family. I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures.

After yesterday's tornado warnings and windstorms, today's sunrise
was a pleasant change. We're promised 90-plus heat today and more severe weather, so I'm hunkered down - perhaps will have to shut down the computer so a sudden power outage doesn't create big problems. Lucky thing I got some yard work done before the stuff hit the fan. Have a great Friday there in Cleveland.

Good morning
I cut the grass yesterday. We have rain blasting through from the West Virginia Panhandle, but it's supposed to subside by 1-2. John is officially on vacation today, so we plan to trim the hedges, detail the car, and go clothes shopping for our roadtrip. I would love to see your hanging plants. I got five of them. Two yellow, two purple, and one is a variety of colors.
